DAME FELICIA, WIFE OF FMR. SENATE PRESIDENT, ADOLPHUS WABARA, BURIED IN ABIA

The remains of Dame Felicia Edeomola Wabara, wife of former Senate President, Senator Adolphus Wabara was on Saturday, buried in her husband’s compound Ohambele-Ndoki home in Ukwa East LGA.

The burial which attracted the who’s who in the political sphere of the state, was conducted by the Primate of the Anglican Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev. Dr. Henry Ndukuba who led several other top clergy to the event.

The event which held at Ikwueke Community Secondary School, Ohambele, had in attendance, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State as well as his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu and his wife, Lady Vivian.

Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma was represented at the ceremony by his Deputy, Professor Placid Njoku.

Notable Abia political leaders at the event included the former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, PDP governorship candidate Professor Uche Ikonne and his running mate, Hon. Okey Igwe, Secretary to Government, Barrister Chris Ezem, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief Okey Ahiwe, former Chief of Army Staff, General Azubuike Ihejirika (Rtd), the Amayanabo of Opobo, His Majesty, King Dandeson Jaja, Chairman of the PDP Abia State, Rt Hon Asiforo Okere and his counterpart from Rivers State, Ambassador Desmond Akawo, Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Ambassador Okey Emuchay, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Abia State University, Chief Mba Ukariwo, Vice Chancellor of the Abia State University, Professor Ogbulu, Labour Party governorship candidate, Dr Alex Otti, among numerous others.

Dame Felicia, died on Sunday, April 10, 2022 after a protracted illness.
